200 Stab Wounds Release New Song "Pangs of Conscience"

20 Sept 2026

Cleveland death metal band 200 Stab Wounds have announced their new album, Lowest Form, which is due to come out on February 19th, 2027.

The album will be released through Metal Blade Records.

The band has shared the album’s opening track and lead single. Pangs of Conscience offers the first taste of what’s to come from their upcoming eight-track record. Arthur Rizk, who has previously worked with Power Trip and Cavalera, handled the production, mixing, and mastering.

The song features crushing riffs and the uncompromising sound that 200 Stab Wounds are known for. The band has said that the song explores a lot of new territory for them, and that it’s one of the most dynamic songs they have done to date, both musically and lyrically.

The lyrics explore reaching a point where actions conflict with the person you believe you are, and how to find your way back after making such mistakes. Lowest Form is the beginning of a new chapter for 200 Stab Wounds, as the band has said that they have put more work into this record than anything they have worked on before.

The Band are Blazing a Path for American Death Metal

200 Stab Wounds formed in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2019. They have quickly become one of the most recognisable names in American death metal. They released their debut album, Slave to the Scalpel, in 2021, followed by Manual Manic Procedures in 2024. Musically, they take plenty of influence from old-school death metal, but keep the production sharp enough to give their records a more modern edge.

Over the last few years, they have also built their reputation on the road, touring extensively. The band has toured with legends like Cattle Decapitation, Dark Funeral, and Blackbraid. Lowest Form will now become their third full-length album and their second released through Metal Blade Records.

The album features eight tracks:

  1. “Pangs of Conscience”

  2. “Wicked Butchery”

  3. “Sweet Suicide”

  4. “Methodically Slaughtered”

  5. “Symbolic In Glory”

  6. “Psychopomp”

  7. “Taste Of Betrayal…The Ultimate Consequence”

  8. “Punishment Eternal”
