Damnation Festival Warm-Up A Night of Salvation Sells Out in Nine Minutes

The warm-up show takes place at Manchester’s Bread Shed on Friday, November 6, ahead of Damnation Festival, which is held at the BEC Arena on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8.

The event is limited to just 450 people. A Night of Salvation offers an intimate start to the weekend, as well as a rare chance to see Australia’s own industrial death metal favourites The Berzerker play their 2002 album, Dissimulate in its entirety. This will be the band’s first European appearance in almost 20 years.

They will be joined by British deathgrind veterans Gorerotted, who will perform Only Tools and Corpses in full. They built a solid reputation for themselves in the early 2000s by creating savage, gory death metal and reformed under their original name in 2026.

Undeath, a New York death metal outfit, are bringing old-school brutality to the line-up, and are set to give fans a night to remember. Completing the bill are Ultha, an atmospheric black metal band who combine raw aggression with an expansive sound.

Damnation organiser Gavin McInally released a statement, saying:

“It felt wasteful to fly The Berzerker over for their first European show in almost 20 years and only get to enjoy the chaos once.

Their headline set at Damnation will be an aural and visual assault on the senses with arena production. This set, playing Dissimulate in full, will be old school, no barrier mayhem in a sweatbox.

We took the opportunity to have Gorerotted do double duty too so we could witness Only Tool & Corpses in its entirety while the opening combo of Undeath and Ultha will be a masterclass in death and black metal.”

Even though A Night of Salvation has officially sold out, weekend and Sunday tickets remain on sale for Damnation Festival 2026.

Damnation Festival is held at Manchester’s BEC Arena on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8. It brings together a huge bill of extreme, doom, sludge, hardcore, black metal and experimental music.

The 2026 line-up includes Norwegian black metal icons Satyricon, Liverpool death metal pioneers Carcass, Swiss extreme metal legends Triptykon, and Swedish post-metal giants Cult of Luna. Also performing are New Orleans’ own Crowbar and Eyehategod, alongside Australia’s The Berzerker. Fans are in for a global representation of heavy music and a weekend of sheer brutality.

Other bands across the weekend include Wolves in the Throne Room, Benediction, Igorrr, Walls of Jericho, Health, Pelican, Weekend Nachos, Gorerotted, Ultha and Medulla Nocte.
