HeadRush Firmware Update Introduces Native Support for NAM

Native support for Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) is now included, along with direct integration with the TONE3000 sharing platform.

Native NAM Support Arrives

Neural Amp Modeler is an open-source platform that uses AI to recreate the sound of real amplifiers, pedals, and signal chains. This can be done with impressive accuracy and, thanks to the latest update, HeadRush users can now load and play NAM captures directly from their device.

Direct Access to TONE3000

Alongside NAM compatibility, the firmware also includes integration with TONE3000.

This is an online platform where people can upload, download, and share their captures.

Using the touchscreen on a HeadRush unit, players can browse the library, download captures, and play them instantly through the HeadRush Cloud.

HeadRush has released a statement saying that the update will allow musicians to discover everything from vintage amplifiers to boutique pedal combinations and more.

Creators can also share their captures with musicians across the globe in just a few taps.

Walter Skorupski, Senior Product Manager at HeadRush, has confirmed that the integration puts hundreds of thousands of community-created captures of iconic amps and rare signal chains directly into the hands of musicians.

At the same time, it embraces the open-source movement that is helping to shape the future of digital guitar tones.

Steve Atkinson, the creator of Neural Amp Modeler, has welcomed the announcement, saying it is a significant step forward for both the music industry and open-source technology.

Stanley Vergilis, CEO and Co-Founder of TONE3000, has also highlighted the importance of the partnership, noting that HeadRush has become the first platform to let users browse the entire TONE3000 library directly from the touchscreen.

How Do You Install the Latest HeadRush Update?

Users can install the latest firmware directly from their HeadRush device. Open the main menu and select Firmware Update. Once the download has finished, restart your unit to complete the installation.

Alternatively, you can install the firmware using a USB connection. Simply download the update from the official HeadRush website and follow the installation instructions.
