

Kings of Thrash to Bring Live Show to Blackpool This August

Thrash metal fans in Lancashire have another gig to look forward to this year, as Kings of Thrash are performing at the Waterloo Music Bar in Blackpool.
Kings of Thrash take to the stage on Saturday, 29 August 2026. Led by former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, Kings of Thrash will be coming to the Blackpool Waterloo Music Bar as part of their UK and Ireland tour.
Joining Ellefson are Jeff Young, Fred Aching and Chaz Leon. The line-up promises a set packed with classics, as well as high-energy performances. Jeff Young has released a statement saying that the band have such fond memories of touring the UK and Europe, and love seeing how rich the culture is.
He added that the enthusiasm people have for live music is on another level, and that the band can't wait to bring their show to fans.
According to previous setlists from the tour, fans can expect to hear songs such as:

Hook in Mouth

Doors at the Waterloo Music Bar open at 7:30pm, with the show scheduled to begin at 8:30pm. General admission tickets are £30.24, while VIP packages are available for £76.

Those who opt for a VIP ticket will get early access to the venue, as well as the opportunity to shop at the merchandise stall before the doors open to the general public. VIPs will also receive a meet and greet with the band and an autographed 8x10 photo.
David Ellefson will also be handing out signature guitar picks, signing unlimited items, and posing for photos with fans.
The event is open to those aged 14 and over, with anyone aged 14 to 17 required to attend with an accompanying adult. No refunds will be given for incorrectly booked tickets.
The show is set to be huge, offering Lancashire thrash fans the chance to see some of the best-known names in the genre up close and personal.
