Massive Wagons Announce the Roar of the Roses Tour

Bradford’s own Terrorvision and Lancaster rock legends Massive Wagons are embarking on a nine-date UK co-headline run throughout January and February 2027.

Despite years of crossing paths on different festival bills and sharing a deep level of mutual respect, this marks the first time the two bands have toured together.

Each night, both bands will perform a full-length headline set, alternating the closing slot to ensure audiences get a unique experience every time.

Another Milestone for the County’s Rock Scene

Massive Wagons have had an incredible run so far, appearing in the Official UK Albums Chart in recent years. Massive Wagons’ latest studio album, Earth to Grace, debuted at number four in 2024, following Triggered!, which reached number six in 2022. House of Noise peaked at number nine in 2020 and launched the band to new heights.

The band’s success story goes way beyond studio releases as well. Their concert album, Live at the Great Hall, put a spotlight on the band while highlighting the reputation they have built as one of the UK’s must-see live acts. With a string of Top 10 albums and increasingly bigger headline shows, Massive Wagons continue to fly the flag for Lancashire rock.

Baz Mills has given his own statement on the tour, saying that co-headlining with Terrorvision isn’t just a great night out; it’s a personal achievement, given that the whole band are huge long-term fans.

To date, Massive Wagons have amassed 23 million Spotify streams and have roughly 75,000 monthly listeners. Their top songs include Billy Balloon Head and House of Noise. Their most-played live songs include In It Together, Back to the Stack, Nails and China Plates, all of which have become staples at their gigs across the UK.

The announcement comes at a busy time for both bands, as Terrorvision have released their brand-new single, Living With Me.

Tickets are on sale now, with the following dates currently announced:

• 28 January – Southampton, O2 Guildhall (Massive Wagons close)

• 29 January – London, O2 Kentish Town Forum (Terrorvision close)

• 30 January – Nottingham, Rock City (Massive Wagons close)

• 1 February – Newcastle, Northumbria University (Terrorvision close)

• 2 February – Glasgow, SWG3 (Massive Wagons close)

• 4 February – Wolverhampton, KK's Steel Mill (Terrorvision close)

• 5 February – Manchester, O2 Victoria Warehouse (Massive Wagons close)

• 6 February – Leeds, O2 Academy (Terrorvision close)

For Lancashire rock fans, the Manchester date is likely to be the easiest opportunity to catch one of the county's most successful bands sharing the stage with Yorkshire's finest in what promises to be a standout UK rock tour for early 2027.
