Rebellion Festival 2026 Returns to Blackpool With Over 300 Bands Across Nine Stages

Running from Thursday 6 August to Sunday 9 August, Rebellion is the biggest independently run punk festival in the UK. More than 15,000 people attend each year, with 300 bands performing across several indoor stages. The festival has built a reputation for bringing iconic bands together while also introducing the next generation of punk to huge audiences.

A Legendary Line-Up Across Four Days

This year's festival delivers a line-up consisting of some of the most influential names in punk. The Empress Ballroom will host the biggest performances, with a breakdown of the bands performing below.

Even though the music is the main attraction, Rebellion has always been about the culture of punk. Over the four days, visitors can browse extensive art and craft markets, rare records and merchandise from independent traders. It's also possible to visit the art gallery, where people can immerse themselves in the DIY culture that has helped to define punk for over five decades.

Discovering the Next Generation

One of the biggest success stories of Rebellion is its commitment to supporting emerging acts. RIS has become one of the festival's most popular attractions, with many bands that once appeared on this stage going on to earn slots on the larger stages in later years. It showcases the festival's commitment to nurturing new talent rather than relying solely on established names.

The stage has also grown significantly over the last 10 years, moving from the Derham Lounge to the Arena before relocating to the Pavilion in 2024, placing it in the heart of the festival where thousands of people walk through every day.

Since 2024, the Sunday programme has been curated by Loud Women, featuring female, trans and non-binary talent while strengthening the festival's reputation for championing diversity within the punk community.

RIS After Dark continues the experience, giving fans the chance to experience upcoming acts in a more intimate setting.

Demand for Rebellion Festival is stronger than ever. Every single ticket for 2026 has sold out, including all four weekend ticket tiers. The continued sell-out success underlines Rebellion as one of the most important music festivals in the UK, while also attracting fans from across Britain, Europe and beyond.
