Burnley’s Regain Festival Unites Heavy Metal Fans for a Worthy Cause

Regain Fest 3 takes place on 12 September, with seven bands booked. Bands span a variety of genres, with established local acts and emerging names from across the UK heavy metal scene.

The event is set to start at 5:30 pm and finish at roughly 1:00 am. Regain Fest 3 is exclusively for those over the age of 18.

The first Regain Festival took place in 2024 and raised over £3,000 for Sands across two fundraisers, surpassing the original goal of £500. This year, the event is for the 4Louis charity, which provides cold cots and memory boxes.

Seven Bands Will Take to the Stage This September

Those who attend will not only support an important cause but also enjoy a stacked bill.

Bands include Rockateurs, Occulent, INHERITOR, Suicide Samurai, OmegaThrone, Incarnage and Beyond Salvation.

Rockateurs

Blackpool’s own Rockateurs are bringing their bouncy riffs and powerful vocals to the line-up. The band is known for tracks like Before the Feeling Goes, From the Darkness, and La Femme Fatale. Expect rock ’n’ roll energy with plenty of attitude.

Occulent

Occulent are a Manchester metalcore band who recently appeared at M2TM. The band released their 2026 single, Where Do We Go (From Here?), and have since continued to build momentum with their heavy, emotionally charged sound.

INHERITOR

Leeds’ INHERITOR are also taking to the stage. Notable tracks include Death Spiral and Stay For the Cure. The band have recently released their latest official music video for Wasted Time, Borrowed Pain, and are a band you don't want to miss.

Suicide Samurai

Oldham’s Suicide Samurai add to the stacked line-up. The four-piece experimental metal band’s popular tracks include Shinobi Sniper, Final Stand and Rising Dragon.

OmegaThrone

Liverpool’s OmegaThrone, a blackened death metal band, add to the bill. They are inspired by numerous genres, delivering speedy riffs and blast beats. Influences include Swedish death metal, ’90s thrash and black metal.

Their latest album, Predators Make Empires, came out in 2026. The final track on the album is 12 minutes and 44 seconds, showcasing the talent and versatility of the band as they embark on a musical journey with their iconic sound.

Incarnage

Incarnage are no strangers to the metal scene, having been active since 2016. The band hail from Barrow, Cumbria, and are set to bring high-energy metal. With tracks like Scorched Earth, Lullaby, False Throne and There Beside, they’re bringing heavy riffs and relentless energy.

Beyond Salvation

Beyond Salvation are a thrash band hailing from Manchester. Their latest album, The Final Nail, includes tracks like Scorned, Broken Reflections and The Storm. The band played Bloodstock in 2021 and have been capitalising on that momentum ever since.

Events and festivals like Regain Fest have become increasingly important for independent artists over the years. Sanctuary Champions Grassroots Metal

Sanctuary is one of the most established rock venues in Lancashire for alternative music. Events like Regain Fest strengthen ties within the local music community and help raise money for a very important cause.
