Groove Studios – Burnley

Groove Studios is just a few minutes away from Sanctuary and is a favourite amongst Burnley's thriving metal community. The studio offers rehearsal rooms, along with drum kits, various guitar and bass amps, cabs, and a vocal PA with monitors. It’s a central location, which makes it ideal for those who are playing gigs across East Lancashire.

Red Bridge Studios – Bolton

For Bolton-based musicians, Red Bridge has 15 rehearsal rooms, all of which are soundproofed and kitted out with top-quality equipment. They host a Pro-Tools studio, and bands who rehearse there benefit from substantial discounts. The studio is loaded with microphones and pre-amps, and is run by producer Neil Treppas.

Cathedral Studios & Rehearsal Rooms – Blackburn

Cathedral Studios & Rehearsal Rooms offers rehearsal facilities alongside professional recording services, making it ideal for bands moving from songwriting into recording demos or full releases. Having both services under one roof means groups can refine songs before stepping straight into the studio.

Rock Hard Studios – Blackpool

Rock Hard Studios has five rehearsal suites with a range of professional equipment. The facilities are on the ground floor, and they have a large bay door and a free car park. The rehearsal room also has a cafe and chill-out lounge that’s open to those who use the facilities. There’s 500 square feet of treated studio rehearsal space, with an 8-piece Natal drum kit and hardware. There’s also an Ashdown 8 x 10 bass amp, Marshall valve guitar head and 1960A Cab, Soundcraft Signature 16 mixer,  2 X AKG D5 vocal mics and stands, and a 5kw PA system with monitors. The live room can be rented for £20 an hour.

Turtleneck Studios – Earby

For musicians in Pendle and the surrounding area, Turtleneck Studios provides a local option. It’s particularly good for bands based in Barnoldswick, Colne and Earby, and those who want to avoid travelling for rehearsals. You can rent space for just £10 an hour, or get 3 hours for £25. Drum kits and guitar amps are provided, and the studio can also provide bands with mixing and mastering services.
