Rock Band Lythium Release New Single "Shotgun" with Live Performance at The Ferret
2 Aug 2026
Alternative rock band Lythium have released their latest single, "Shotgun".
To mark the release, the Preston four-piece have also unveiled a new live performance video, filmed at The Ferret, one of the North West's best-known independent music venues.
The track was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Dan Cain at Cain Audio.
Formed in Preston in 2018, the band consists of Kasra (vocals), Jimi (guitar), Hazel (bass) and Chris (drums).
Drawing influence from Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Queens of the Stone Age and Nothing But Thieves, Lythium have become an established name on the Lancashire music scene, performing regularly while continuing to expand their catalogue of original material.
Some of the band's previous releases include Help Me, Artificial Negligence, Crush and Leader. Alongside the new single, fans can also watch Lythium perform "Shotgun" live at The Ferret, offering a taste of the band's energetic stage presence and powerful live performance.
