Rock The Gardens Returns to Blackpool with Biggest Lineup yet

Two days of tribute acts are taking to the stage at the historic Winter Gardens.

New Acts and Bigger Production for 2027

The festival, which is taking place on Friday 29 January and Saturday 30 January, is set to be huge. The indoor event has become a celebration of tribute acts from across the country. It’s being hosted in the Empress Ballroom, with dozens of bands performing songs by some of the biggest names in heavy metal.

Some of the bands announced for 2027 include:

• Meteora (Linkin Park tribute)

• Subhuman Race (Skid Row tribute)

• Pantera A.D. (Pantera tribute)

• Green Haze (Green Day tribute)

• Metal Militia (Metallica tribute)

• VOLBEATen (Volbeat tribute)

• Bring Me The Horizon UK Tribute

• Knotslip (Slipknot tribute)

• Guns or Roses (Guns N' Roses tribute)

  
  

They’ll be joined by acts including Nirvanah and ToFu Fighters. Organisers have confirmed that even more bands will be announced as the festival draws closer, with everything from metal and hard rock to grunge. 

Rock the Gardens to Have a Second Stage for the First Time Ever

For the first time in its history, Rock the Gardens is going to feature a second stage. This will allow more bands to perform while giving festivalgoers access to a much wider selection of music. The organisers have also confirmed there will be an upgraded production, alongside enhanced lighting that will rival the experience of major arena shows.

The event is organised by Killing Time Events Ltd, who have grown Rock the Gardens into one of the UK's leading tribute festivals.

The 2027 event is also supporting a good cause. The festival is extending its partnership with the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, a charity dedicated to stamping out prejudice and intolerance towards the alternative community.

The charity was established in memory of Sophie Lancaster, who was murdered in 2007 after being attacked because of her alternative appearance.

The foundation now partners with numerous festivals across the UK in an effort to challenge hate crime while promoting acceptance and inclusivity within music. The popularity of Rock the Gardens is a testament to the organisers' commitment to creating a welcoming event for all.

Ticket Links and Essential Information

Weekend tickets are available now, with adult passes priced at just £40. Children aged between 8 and 15 can attend for £20, while single-day tickets will be released closer to the event. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  Tickets can be bought from the official Rock the Gardens website.

With a huge line-up and more bands still to be announced, Rock the Gardens is shaping up to be one to remember.
