Trivium and In Flames Announce 2027 UK Tour With Paleface Swiss and VOLA

26 Aug 2026

Trivium and In Flames are bringing a stacked line-up to the UK next spring.

The two metal heavyweights have announced a UK and European tour for 2027. Paleface Swiss and Danish progressive metal band VOLA will be accompanying them on every date.

Manchester is the closest date for Lancashire metalheads. The tour begins at Dublin’s 3Arena on Sunday 29 March.

It then goes to the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Wednesday 31 March, before hitting the Co-op Live on Friday 2 April. The bands will then be going to Alexandra Palace in London on Saturday 3 April, and Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on Sunday 4 April.

In Flames and Trivium to Co-Headline Across Europe

Most of the European run of the tour sees In Flames and Trivium split the co-headline duties; however, the UK and Ireland dates will be headlined by Trivium.

In Flames have said that they are excited to come back to Europe with their “old friends”, Trivium. They also added that both Paleface Swiss and VOLA complete the “amazing bill”.

Trivium described the tour as being the start of a new era for the band, as they are “beyond stoked” to be reuniting with In Flames for their next run of dates. Paleface Swiss bring a modern deathcore edge to the bill, and VOLA’s progressive sound adds yet another dimension.

Matt Heafy Recently Joined In Flames for a Surprise Performance

Trivium frontman Matt Heafy joined In Flames on stage at the Göteborg Brinner recently. They performed the classic 1996 track, Artifacts of the Black Rain. The song is taken from In Flames’ album, The Jester Race. Mikael Stanne from Dark Tranquility also made a special guest appearance.

Trivium Continue Work on their New Album

Trivium are in the process of finishing their 11th studio album, which is set for an early 2027 release. Matt Heafy confirmed that the recording is now complete and was done at the Hangar Studio HQ in Orlando, Florida. This upcoming record will be the band’s first with drummer Alex Rudinger. Heafy stated that this could well be the best Trivium album to date, and that new music will drop ahead of the full release. Trivium are heading on a North American tour this fall, with In Flames, Orbit Culture, Fit for an Autopsy, and Frozen Soul.
