Evil Blizzard to Headline Halloween Show at Sunbird Records with Pre-Empted and Dead Things

6 Aug 2026

Halloween is set to be loud in Lancashire as Evil Blizzard headline a very special event in Darwen on Saturday 31 October.

Joining the Preston band are rising act Pre-Empted and Dead Things.

Advance tickets are just £10, and the show is taking place at Sunbird Records, 4 The Circus, Darwen, BB3 1BS.

Evil Blizzard have Just Released Death Songs & Lullabies

Evil Blizzard have just released their newest album, Death Songs & Lullabies. The album features Discharge vocalist J.J. Janiak and was recorded at Rock Hard Studios in Blackpool. The record has further cemented the band's reputation and propelled them to new heights. Anyone who has seen Evil Blizzard in the past knows to expect a powerful set.

Pre-Empted Join the Bill as Support

Pre-Empted emerged through Darwen Music Projects' open mic nights and have grown into one of Lancashire's fastest-rising alternative bands. They released their self-titled EP in 2024 and have since gone from strength to strength.

Their song Smoky Amp was remixed by LUNATHUG, the electronic music project of Miles Berry, helping to introduce their music to a much wider audience. They're now building anticipation for future shows with the release of Good Enuff. Their energetic performances are not to be missed.

Dead Things Complete the Line-Up

Completing the line-up are Dead Things, who have recently revealed that they have been recording their debut album. While the details are being kept under wraps, the band have confirmed that they will be performing at the Halloween event, giving fans the chance to catch them live while getting a taste of what's to come.

Tickets can be bought here, from the official Sunbird Records website.

Those who can’t wait until Halloween can catch Metal 2 the Masses winners Shadow Company and runners-up Azimuth Rising, who are playing at Sunbird Records on 11 September, 2026.
